Page Relationships: the Organize tab
The Organize tab in the editing screen allows pages to be associated with each other in parent/child relationships. These relationships can be used in a variety of ways, including site navigation and for grouping related pages.
The Page Organizer has two sections. The top is a drag and drop navigation tree, and the bottom provides management for parent pages.
Page Organizer
The tree on the left presents a hierarchy of pages starting from the Menu page. The Menu page is the root of the site's navigation by default in EditMe sites. Your site might be configured to use different and/or additional navigation roots. If so, you can select a different root from the drop down.
Use drag & drop to organize pages within the tree on the left. You can drop pages between to pages to set a specific order of pages, or you can drop pages on a page and it will be placed at the end of that page's list of child pages.
Use the search box on the right to list pages with a matching name or title. By default, recently changed pages are listed. You can drag the results into the navigation tree to create new relationships.
Use the dropdown above the tree to select from available root pages (pages with children, but no parents). You can also drop any page onto the dropdown to view the navigation tree from that point.
To remove a page from the navigation tree, simply right-click the page and select Remove.
Parent Pages
To add a new Parent relationship, start typing the Page Name of the page you want to relate in the text box in either section (Parent Pages or Child Pages). You'll see suggested page names appear beneath the text box. Select one and click the Add button. To remove a relationship, click the Remove link next to the parent you want to remove.
Page Versioning
Page relationships are stored with the parent page, such that any change to a page relationship creates a new version of the parent page. For this reason, you must have at least Edit access to a Parent page and at least View access to a child page in order to create or delete a relationship.
