Calendar Issues In Sidebar

Hello, I have installed the Calendar Module, but found that I did not like the size of it on a regular page. I put it in the Menu section of the sidebar and it caused a couple of issues.  First is that it displays two separate calendars.  Second is that the view options (Monthly, Weekly, Daily) extend to the right, adding unwanted space on that side of the site. The Add Event and Settings buttons are also doubled for the second instance of the calendar.  This one isn't really a problem, as long as the second instance can be removed.

 

I like the size of the calendar in the sidebar, and also that it is on every page.  Is there any way to fix these issues, or am I just not going to be able to use the calendar in the sidebar?

Are you sure you're not looking at the Menu page when you're seeing two calendars? When you view the menu page directly, you see its content both in the side bar and in the page area - that would explain seeing two calendars.

Regarding the size - it was not intended to be displayed or work in such a narrow area. While you might be able to make that work with some tweaking, it isn't a configuration we support.
