No links in e-mail to users?
BarbYoung says:
I just sent an e-mail to all the users of our site, but I couldn't figure out how to include a link. HTML just shows up as text. I'd like to be able to include links in e-mails to site users, and also to include attachments.

Barbara,
EditMe's email users tool does not support HTML. You can include a link as just a text URL like this:

The vast majority of email clients will turn that into a clickable link.

Clickable links appear in Gmail and Apple Mail. The links aren't clickable in Outlook 2003 or my ISP's webmail. Either way, I wish we had a way to use words as links rather than the whole URL.

Hi Barbara,
Sorry that EditMe currently doesn't have the ability to send HTML emails. If you really would like to see us work on this feature next, you should definitely check out our Feature Feedback forum at http://feedback.editme.com/forums/37606
Also, I believe if you hold the CONTROL button, you will able to click on links in Outlook 2003. I know that doesn't really give you a complete solution, but it might be helpful.
Thanks for posting!

Hi Matthew,
I tried Ctrl-clicking on links in Outlook 2003 and that didn't work (it just highlights the whole paragraph). I took your advice and submitted a request in the Feature Feedback forum.
Thanks,
Barbara
