video controls missing
bizxchange says:
I'm playing around in the soundbox and tried embedding video. It worked just fine and the video plays, but as soon as it starts the controls go away and I can't get them back. It can still be controlled via right click menus, but I'm considering EditMe for an internal wiki which will primarily consist of training, including videos, which will be for inexperienced users who probably won't figure out the right click thing.

I, too, am having trouble with this. I am also unable to get it so the video does not start immediately as the page loads. For now, I have put a caption under the video that says "right click on the video to pause, stop, or start" ... I'd much prefer that it not start automatically and to have the controls visible so the person viewing the page can choose when they'd like the video to play.

EditMe has limited control over the interface displayed when playing a video uploaded directly to EditMe. The browser and software the visitor has installed is what controls this. See How do I host and view a video on EditMe?
If you can post a link to the pages in question I can take a look and perhaps provide additional recommendations. It's also important what browser and operating system you're using, as it will differ based on that. This is why using Flash as described in the link above is your best bet.
Cheers,
Matt
