Photo Gallery Slideshow Viewer Not Rendering Properly

Forums / Questions

msmolen says:

I'm using the new Photo Gallery widget. Very useful, thanks for adding.

However, when I load the viewer, in IE8, I'm not getting the border and the bottom tools/title bar is rendering over the image (it's moved up a little too high).  It all works, but not rendering properly.

I also checked in Firefox.  The border renders properly, but the bottom bar is also rendered too high covering the bottom part of the image.

I also noticed that cboxCurrent is rendering on three lines...this might be part of the issue (?) it renders as:

Image

1 of

10

Instead of "Image 1 of 10"

Any chance we can get an update/fix?

Also, if there's a way to control the rendered size of the slideshow image, please let me know.  I have larger images, but they are being sized down, hard to read the text in them.

Thanks,

Mark...

Mark,

Yes, I just noticed that formatting issue today as well. We'll get a patch for it out soon.

Regarding scaling of the images... they are scaled down to a % of the screen size. Many people will upload huge images, so showing them at 100% would often create an unnavigable situation. The code within your installed module could be customized to show them larger, but changing the base module to do that seems like a bad idea.

Cheers,
Matt

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the quick response...will look forward to the fix...will I need to install the new version of the module when it's available?

Regarding the scaling, is there any way we can set the scaling percentage in the code? I just want to control what % of the screen it is taking up.  It looks to be about 50% right now...I'd like it to be at least 75%.

Thanks again!

Mark.
