Trouble uploading attachments

Forums / Questions

sarah biggs says:

Hi

I have not been able to upload attachments today, can you help please?

I have been through the process several times and each time the usual message appears to say that the files have been uploaded but they do not appear on the attachment list. The page that i have been trying to upload files to is on http://holytrinitychurcheditme.com on the home page. i have also tried on another page however to check that it is not something to do with the page itself, (it didn't work there either)

Unfortunately this is rather urgent as we have "latest news" slides that we update every sunday and currently they are out of date. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Sarah

Sarah,

Your site has used up all its allocated storage space. See http://holytrinitychurch.editme.com/_resources

You can either delete some attachments or upgrade using the Account Manager.

Cheers,

Hi Matt

Thanks for getting back to me.

I think we may have to upgrade at some point but in the meantime i just wanted to check my understanding of the option "delete all but current attachments". I have a load of old versions of attachments and can easily get rid of them. If I click here will everything that is currently not linked be deleted. On our home page we have a slide show, all the attachments are on the home page but the code to make the slide show run is on another page. I am a bit concerned that i might lose all my attachments if I click this option. might i be better to do it manually on the page?

Thanks

Sarah

Sarah,

Only previous versions of attachments will be deleted. The current version of all attachments will be kept. It's unlikely your site is linking directly to old versions of attachments. Does that answer your question?
