Programmatically updating a page

Forums / Questions

afrosteve says:

I'd like to update an existing wiki page from a script on my own PC.

For example, a python script would run on my computer, determine some data, then log onto my EditMe wiki and change a certain page accordingly.

Is this possible?

Absolutely. EdtitMe has a robust API for developing this sort of thing. If you like, I can email a script we use internally that updates a page on your EditMe wiki from a ruby script. Send a msg to support@editme if you're interested.

Awesome.

I had briefly browsed the API documentation, but it looked like only server side stuff.

I will email you right away for that script.

Thank you matt.
