Editing Private Pages
I have one student that does not see the "edit page" icon on the top right of the page when they access their private page.

Hi,
That means he hasn't been given adequate permission to edit that page. There are a number of things that could cause this. If you can provide a link to the page in question and the login name of the user, I can be of more help.
You can also peruse the documentation on this site for the various security settings options.

Hi,
This page's Security Setting was set improperly to "Public View/Administrator Edit". I changed it to the private policy for this user. That should fix it. In the future, you can check this setting by editing the page as an administrator and looking at the Advanced tab. Page Security is the first setting.
