Site Map Feature
hs2008 says:
As I see my wiki growing larger and larger I'm getting concerned about it getting incredibly cluttered and pages 'slipping through the cracks' I guess. And just having lots of unnecessary pages.
I'd like a way to create a 'site map' perhaps. It would basically be a more organized version of the 'site index' - pages would be organized by category. And I was thinking the wiki pages could have a 'tag' feature and then the site map would be organized by those various tags.
Editgrid.com has a way of organizing spreadsheets by tags. And there is also a checkbox next to each spreadsheet to easily mark those pages for deletion. So that could be an example to check out.
Another way to think of it is with a file cabinet - files are grouped by different drawers - and wiki pages are like the 'files' - but with site index is basically like having a file cabinet with only one drawer - one really huge drawer. I basically would like some wiki 'drawers' essentially - to group large amounts of pages ('files') together.
Thanks,
Stephen

Great idea! I think the organize feature could be pretty easily used to produce a site map - it would just basically be a series of embedded [[include:_ListNav]] scripts.

Do you know of any editme sites that are actually doing this?
