The Editor Toolbar
At the top of the editing window is a toolbar with many familiar buttons for formatting your text. If you place your mouse pointer over a button, a tooltip appears displaying the function of the button.
Remember, many of these buttons act on the current insertion point or selected content in the editor window. If there is no selection or insertion point (i.e. you haven't clicked inside the editor), the editor may jump to the top of the page when you click a button that requires one or the other.
Most of the table buttons (the first half of the third row) all act on the "current" row, column or cell in a table. Make sure you click your mouse in the table cell you want the button to act. You can also right click in a table cell to access table operations.
Note: There are some edits you can only do through HTML (the "HTML" button) or through Style sheets. For more information on how Style sheets can be used to change things like font size please see the Styles help page.
