Staying Informed

EditMe provides several ways to stay informed of changes to the site.

Page Index

Every page on your site is listed in alphabetical order in the Index. You can access the Index of any site at http://SITENAME.editme.com/_Index .

Pages will not appear in the Index under three circumstances:

  • The current logged-in user (or anonymous user) doesn't have access to view the page.
  • The page doesn't have a Title. Pages without Titles are not shown in the Index or Search results.
  • The "Hide this Page" option is set in the page properties. See Page Properties.

Recent Changes

Every change, including page edits, comments, and attachment uploads, is listed on the Recent Changes page, accessible at http://SITENAME.editme.com/_Recent .

Pages show up on this page using the same rules as the Index detailed above. 

Email Notifications

Registered users and administrators can click Preferences after logging in and specify email notification options. Users can opt in for notifications every 2 hours, 24 hours, or once per week. Only changes that the user has access to view are included, and no email is sent if no changes were made since the last notification.

RSS

Every site includes an RSS 2.0 XML feed. For details, see the RSS Feeds page.
