Modules

Similar to Skins, modules provide a way to package a set of pages and attachments for one-click installation into a site. While Skins change the look and feel of a site, modules provide new functionality. Modules allow EditMe to release new features at a considerably faster pace. More importantly, modules allow capabilities to be added to the product that only a subset of customers may find useful without cluttering the base product with complexity that many customers may not want or need.

To manage Modules on your site:

  1. Log into your site as an administrator.
  2. Click Settings
  3. Select Site Management -> Modules from the menu.

Click a module name for details about what features it contains. You can then click Install to add the module to your site.

Installed modules are listed on the right side of the Modules page.  Click an installed Module name to view the module on your site. Each installed module also provides a log of what was installed, when it was installed and who installed it. This can be used to manually remove a module from your site. Some modules may also contain a built-in Uninstall feature.

Visit the Module Directory for a list of available modules and more information on individual modules.
