Inserting Multimedia

You can display Flash, video and sound files your site using the "Insert/edit embedded media" editor toolbar button.

To display multimedia files on your site, you must first upload the file as an attachment. For help uploading attachments, see the Attachments help page.

Once the file is attached, edit the page and click the cursor where you want the media to display in the editor. Then click the "Insert/edit embedded media" toolbar button (it looks like a film strip). Select the media type from the dropdown at the top. Then select the attached file from the Links list of attached files and click OK.

You cannot view the multimedia player from within the editor. You must click Save and view the page to see the embedded media. To modify the embedded media properties, you can edit the page again, select the yellow embedded media area in the editor, and click the filmstrip toolbar button again.
