Is it possible to customize the text on the Login and Comments pages?

Q: [Reto, 2006-12-21] Hi, is it possible to specifiy the format of the last modified date? I'm responsible for a Swiss page and I would like the date to display as "dd.mm.yyyy, hh:mm:ss", where "hh" is in 24-hour format (military style).

[Matt] The answer to both of these questions is not currently. We will be moving to a different templating system in the future that will allow for this, but that's a ways off still.
