Can I require approval of edits to all or certain pages?

From Jill - 2008-05-26

Is there a way to require administrator approval of edits to certain pages? For one set of pages I don't want anything changed without my approval (but I don't want to have to make all the changes myself, either Tongue out). Is there a moderation feature that lets me moderate content before it goes live?

Jill - what you're looking for is called moderated editing. While it sounds good in theory, this is a very cumbersome feature that ends up being disabled in most commercial content management systems - so we haven't put it into EditMe. The "wiki way" to do this is to simply monitor changes and undo/edit them if you find them inappropriate. With 2 hour change notifications, nothing would be there for long before you had a chance to review it.

But, as with most features, this could be implemented with the built-in programming API. It would require programming skills or hiring a programmer to build this for you. We do provide programming services if you're interested in that.
