Can a user be allowed to attach files without having editing privileges?

Question: Try as I might, I can’t seem to figure out how to have some pages that allow users to upload attachments but not to edit the page. I have tried different policies and groups, but to no avail. For users to be able to upload, it seems they also always get the ability to edit the page.

EditMe's standard security policies make the assumption that uploading files is a more sensitive issue than editing the page. While you can configure the site or individual pages to allow editing, but not allow attachment uploads, you can't do the reverse. A few possible work-arounds involve writing code with EditMe's API. EditMe's custom development services can also help with a solution that fits your specific need.
