How do I add embed code to a page?
Embed code is special code provided by other websites like YouTube and Google Calendar that allow you to embed functionality from the source site into other sites and blogs. It's easy to add embed code to any EditMe page. Here's how.
EditMe's editor will strip out IFRAME and SCRIPT tags that are commonly used for embed code. To get around this, simply create a page on your site to house the embed code. It's important to click the "Text Editor" button below the editor for this page before pasting in your embed code. Do not try to use the Rich Text editor for this page. You may want to check the "Hide this page" box on the Advanced tab so this page won't show up in the Index and site search.
Once you've done that, simply include the script page into any other page you like. For example, if you named your embed code page MyYouTubeVideo, you can include that page into any other page using the rich text editor by entering [[include:MyYouTubeVideo]] where you want the video to appear in another page.
You can also use the Widgets Module to help automate this process.
